About the Clinic - PodiatristsPodiatristsMr Mark Gallagher, MSc Pod. Adv Dip Diab Med.Mark received the Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatry from the University of Huddersfield in 1994. He has subsequently researched the area of tissue viability management in Diabetic foot disease and has written a Masters thesis on the use of local anaesthetics in the treatment of chronic soft tissue injury.
He is clinical lead in lower limb injury for University Hospital Birmingham and runs the Podiatry service at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. Marks main clinical interests are injection techniques for foot and ankle problems, the rehabilitation of chronic lower limb soft tissue / joint injuries and the production and objective assessment of orthoses and footwear.
For a further information or an appointment, click here >> Mr Robert Hill SRCh, BSc(Hons), DPodM, DchRobert qualified from Birmingham School of Podiatric Medicine in 1993 and continued his training with a residency program in North America where he specialised in sports injuries, bio-mechanics and forefoot surgery. He has a special interest in Irish dance injuries, writing for Irish dance magazines and is the consulting podiatrist for numerous Irish dancing clubs. Robert developed the Podiatry/rehabilitation department at the Droitwich Spa Hospital with Russell Willis. This includes video gait analysis facilities and an orthotic laboratory.
